Founding partners

Vira Kostenko-Kuznetsova

Team leader, strategist, and project management expert with 15+ years of experience in the media industry. Specialization: Promoting authentic narratives in Ukraine and internationally to counter disinformation; collaborating with Ukrainian government institutions, international donors, and Ukrainian partners, including civil society, media, and the creative sector. Since 2015, Vira has been working in international development, holding leadership roles in projects funded by the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Vira's expertise extends beyond content creation support. Much of her work focuses on supporting local and national media, developing strategies for media sustainability, and directly implementing projects in this domain. She has practical experience initiating and implementing communication campaigns in Ukraine and abroad. Vira managed support for communication, cultural, and educational projects supporting Ukraine's narratives in Austria, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Kenya, Ethiopia, the Middle East, and China. As a sociologist by education, Vira has also completed training at the University of Cambridge on sustainable marketing, content, and creative.

Kateryna Udut

15 years of experience in the media industry. Specialization: international markets and communications, organization of B2B events and projects for the content industry and related creative sectors in Ukraine and abroad. From 2017 to 2024, headed the international forum Kyiv Media Week — one of the most prominent events for media professionals in the CEE region. Project portfolio includes: PITCH UA (a nationwide competition for socially significant content, supported by USAID, three seasons), Ukraine Content Club (uniting Ukraine’s largest media companies to participate in key international markets during the first two years of the full-scale invasion), Small World Big Ideas (an international format competition in partnership with Small World International and MIPCOM, five seasons), Format Show (screening & conference of international formats, 2011–2017), Content Budapest (co-organizer of the first event in the Content CEE events’ lineup by C21 Media), and others. An active participant in major European content markets, including MIP Markets (Cannes, France) and NATPE (Budapest, Hungary). Speaker and moderator of sessions at international industry events such as Serial Killer (Brno, Czech Republic), MIA Market (Rome, Italy), Conecta Fiction (Toledo, Spain), Heart of Europe (Warsaw, Poland), Sofia Media Play (Sofia, Bulgaria), Kyiv Media Week (Kyiv, Ukraine), Kazakhstan Media Summit (Almaty, Kazakhstan), the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit.
